Ministry of Interior introduced updated fee for extending exit and reentry visa, renewal of Iqama and final exit

The Ministry of Interior's Absher Business platform has implemented fees for seven establishment-related services. These included an updated charge of SR103.5 for extending the exit and reentry visa, as well as a revised fee of SR51.75 for renewing the residency permit (Iqama) and SR70 for final exit. The updated charge for issuing Iqama is SR51.75, while the updated fee for seeking an employee report is SR 28.75 and for amending expatriate passport information is SR69.

The Absher Business revealed, through its account on the X platform, that the fees provided are in exchange for value-added services, and are considered fees for implementing the service through Absher Business, and are not included in the employer's annual package.

The Absher Individuals portal has developed a new feature that allows host individuals to report situations of absconding visitors who have entered the Kingdom on a tourist visa.

The Absher platform set five requirements for submitting such a report. The absentee's visa must be classed as a personal or family visa, and the report must be provided within 7 days of the visit visa's expiration date. It is not feasible to submit the report 14 days after the visa's expiry date, and the visit visa must be expired. The conditions further state that the report can only be submitted once per visitor and that there is no way to cancel it after it has been submitted.
