With a totally electric engine that guarantees seamless operations and the ability to fly up to 6,000 meters, the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Road Security Sector, announced the addition of an innovative drone to its security system.
According to Col. Adel Al-Mutairi, a Special Forces for Road Security official, the aircraft has sensors and radars to help with landing and prevent collisions. This is in addition to a dual camera that provides high-accuracy object detection and analysis within a 50-kilometer range by combining optical and thermal imaging with a zoom of up to 30x.
This new technology is a qualitative addition to the Kingdom's Vision 2030 for strengthening security performance using contemporary technologies, since it helps to improve road safety by offering sophisticated and quick support in emergency situations.
