More than 1.5 million pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform the annual pilgrimage of Hajj

Over 1.5 million travelers from all over the world had reached Saudi Arabia as of Monday to perform the yearly Hajj. 

During the current Hajj season, 1,547,295 pilgrims have arrived, according to the General Directorate of Passports. They have passed through all of the Kingdom's land, air, and sea ports as of Monday, June 10. "The great majority of foreign pilgrims arrived by air, totaling 1,483,312, followed by 59,273 pilgrims who arrived through land ports and 4,710 pilgrims who arrived through sea ports.

The directorate professed that it is using all of its resources to expedite the entry processes for God's guests by providing the newest technological equipment to support its platforms at international airports, seaports, and land ports. These devices are run by qualified human cadres who speak the various languages that pilgrims speak.
