More than 5,613,215 worshippers performed prayers in the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah last week

Last week, more than 5,613,215 worshippers and guests offered prayers at Madinah's Prophet's Mosque. Numerous services that catered to the requirements of the worshippers and guests were all around them, including transportation, water supplies, field and guiding services, and breakfast (iftar) for those who were fasting. They also saw how the Prophet's Mosque's 100 doors were arranged for their entrance and leave.

This was disclosed in a statistical report on the most noteworthy services offered to worshippers between October 23 and October 30, 2023, which was released by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque.

According to the report, the Rawdah Al Sharif saw 119,651 male worshippers and 117,382 female worshippers. It was an honour to meet the Prophet, PBUH, and his two companions, may Allah be pleased with them, in front of 458,298 guests.

According to the statistics data, during the five main prayers at the Prophet's Mosque, 17,330 visitors took use of the facilities meant for the elderly and those with disabilities that were available in the specified areas. Additionally, 2,642 visitors profited from the multilingual communication options offered. 10,186 people have used the Prophet's Mosque library's knowledge services and scientific publications throughout the times they were available.

Regarding the museums and exhibitions, 3,631 people have come to learn about the Prophet's Mosque's architectural phases and the services offered to its patrons. As part of the services detailed in the report, 63,438 golf cart rides were given to ladies and the elderly to get them from the courtyards to the Prophet's Mosque's gates. The worshippers were given about 82,600 Zamzam water bottles at iftar and during the day. For the worshippers who were fasting, 124,276 Iftar meals were served in the appropriate locations.

According to the study, 4,711 people profited from the unified number and communication platforms that were provided to visitors to the Prophet's Mosque, and about 6,145 people received advice services.
