More than SR4 billion has been donated to Ehsan in two years since its establishment

The National Platform for Charitable Work, also known as Ehsan, has received more over SR4 billion ($1 billion) in donations in the two years since it was founded.

The platform, which was introduced by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, has already helped around 5 million individuals.

The initiative is a continuation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's interest in assisting and growing the nonprofit sector by making every effort to coordinate it, facilitate its operations, and fund it in order to increase its contribution to societal advancement.

The effectiveness and trustworthiness of Ehsan in distributing gifts to people who are most worthy of them have been significantly impacted by this emphasis and assistance.

King Salman and the crown prince were thanked by the authority's president, Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, for their kind contribution of SR70 million made during Ramadan.

Al-Ghamdi extended his sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in philanthropic enendeavorsnd contributed funds to support the less fortunate via Ehsan.

A supervisory council made up of 12 government organizations oversees the platform. Additionally, it has a Shariah committee that makes sure all platform activities adhere to Islamic Shariah law.

According to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, the platform intends to assist community initiatives and humanitarian issues while promoting the culture of charity work and community cooperation. It also enables the community to give through reputable official channels.
