NewsZardun, a sanctuary resort intended to elevate luxury travel in Saudi Arabia, is the newest project that NEOM has presented. Zardun is another development along the NEOM region's coastline; it is located on the Gulf of Aqaba. The resort will include four opulent structures that are all intended to fit in with the surrounding landscape. Zardun, which covers 4 square kilometres and stretches from the highlands to the seaside, is expected to be a restored natural paradise with a wealth of native plants and animals. Visitors will find the state-of-the-art experience centre, with its 360-degree observation platform and vistas of the surrounding landscapes, to be particularly impressive.
Three boutique hotels with 100 rooms and suites will be located in Zardun. This lodging complements the local ecology and was created with sustainability in mind. Every hotel will have a unique concept and offer a range of experiences to its visitors, including views of the valley or the seaside.
Along with a variety of wellness and leisure activities including stargazing, yoga, and meditation, the resort will also include rock climbing, mountain biking, and hiking. Zardun will also include visitors in educational programmes that emphasise conservation, re-wilding, and wildlife preservation.
Zardun's sustainability plan places a strong emphasis on preserving marine life, especially the coral reefs in the Gulf of Aqaba, and establishing oases. Zardun is the most recent initiative that NEOM has launched. It highlights NEOM's dedication to sustainable development by collaborating with other projects like Leyja, Epicon, Siranna, Utamo, Norlana, and Aquellum to promote sustainable tourism in the Gulf of Aqaba region.
