Nusuk platform pave the way to achieve the 2024 World Summit Award in Culture and Heritage category

With its "Nusuk" platform, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is the only Saudi entity to get the 2024 World Summit Award in the Culture and Heritage category.

More than 900 technical proposals from 160 countries were submitted to compete with the project.

The esteemed WSAs, which are held every two years and honor significant digital efforts, were started in 2003 and include more than 186 participating nations. By recognizing clever apps and imaginative web content, they aim to close the worldwide digital gap. The International Telecommunication Union supports the WSAs, a significant UN program.

The prize is a testament to the Kingdom's unique approach to creating cutting-edge technological solutions that emphasize cultural and heritage values and improve pilgrims' experiences.
