Over 4.4 million people used the airport during the holy month of Ramadan and the Eid Al-Fitr holiday

According to Jeddah Airports Company, despite an increase in operations and flights from the start of the season, the airport saw a seamless flow of movement throughout the peak Umrah season of this year, 1444 AH (2023). Over 4.4 million people used the airport during the holy month of Ramadan and the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

By implementing the operational strategy for the Umrah season, which focuses on providing all services to the anticipated large numbers of individuals travelling to do Umrah through the airport terminals during Ramadan, Jeddah Airports strengthened its preparation earlier this year. The terminals offered customers a smooth travel experience since they were set up to deliver the greatest services at the highest levels of performance.
