Travelers from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia are encouraged to have the polio vaccine and have their certificate signed by a public or private medical facility. This new decision will affect visitors, tourists, and business visa holders as well as people making the Umrah pilgrimage to the Kingdom.
At least four weeks before to their arrival in Saudi Arabia, passengers must obtain either an IPV (inactivated polio vaccine) dosage during the previous 12 months or an OPV (oral polio vaccine) dose within the last 6 months, the airline stated on social networking site X.
This takes effect from February 10, 2025.
