The Public Prosecution said that the punishment for any anyone who alters an antique or urban heritage is either a fine of up to SR100,000 or a year in jail, or both of these punishments.
In a statement, the Public Prosecution said that the acts of defacing encompass writing, painting, engraving, displaying ads, and lighting it on fire.
