Period granted for vehicles used in transporting cars and towing vehicles to apply for the new approved identity has ended

The time allotted for cars and tow trucks to apply for the newly recognised identification has passed. This information was revealed in a statement released by the Transport General Authority (TGA) announcing the expiration of the grace period given to vehicles employed in the activity of carrying automobiles and towing vehicles that have a valid operating card before adopting the approved identification.

TGA hopes to improve the quality and effectiveness of the services it provides to beneficiaries through the adoption of a new brand identity. It also hopes to increase regulation and governance of the activity and combat commercial concealment. TGA had already declared the specifics of the new identity, including unifying the colours of the trucks used in Saudi Arabia for towing and moving automobiles as well as the marks and data that must be displayed there.

TGA has urged businesses and those involved in the industry to review the regulation of the activity on its website, tga.gov.sa, for further information.
