According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, pilgrims passing through Saudi Arabian airports can simply follow formal procedures to transport Zamzam water home.
The ministry recommended that pilgrims buy Zamzam bottles from approved sales locations at the airport to guarantee a seamless and secure experience.
The bottles must not be stowed in checked luggage after purchase; instead, they must be handled on conveyor belts that have been specifically allocated for that purpose.
Each pilgrim is only permitted to bring one bottle, and in order to finish the procedure, they must show a valid Umrah visa or a permit obtained through the Nusuk app.
