The Platform Code, a national framework for creating government platform interfaces in Saudi Arabia, was introduced by the Digital Government Authority. The initiative, which was unveiled at a Riyadh event, is to standardize platform designs in order to guarantee a smooth and uniform digital user experience.
Dignitaries, leaders in the public and corporate sectors of digital transformation, and important stakeholders were present at the event.
The Platform Code complies with national and international digital norms, according to Ahmed Al-Suwaiyan, governor of the Digital Government Authority.
An open-source design system called Platform Code combines design tools, coding frameworks, and community guidelines to facilitate the quick creation of cohesive user experiences. It enables developers and designers to use pre-made elements to solve particular needs.
The Saudi Digital Strategy, which aims to develop the digital economy and increase prospects for both public and private sector goods, was recently revealed by the authority.
Other programs included the Scene Program, which uses cutting-edge frameworks and technologies to promote holistic user experiences locally and worldwide, and the Digital Transformation Ambassador program, which cultivates an integrated digital community.
