Prophet’s Mosque welcomed a total of 6,000,247 visitors last week

The Prophet's Mosque welcomed 6,000,247 visitors last week, according to the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. This accomplishment was made possible by first-rate services that made it easy for the large crowds to offer their prayers, the Saudi Press Agency said on Sunday.

According to the official data, 647,790 people paid a visit to the Prophet Muhammad's grave. Furthermore, 298,397 tourists said prayers at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa by adhering to organisational protocols that controlled crowd flow and assigned dedicated prayer periods for men and women.

The authorities also stated that 114,532 visitors benefited from guidance services, which helped them navigate the various exhibitions, museums, and other areas. Additionally, 16,506 elderly people and people with disabilities were able to use the electric carts provided to ease their access to the Prophet’s Mosque. A total of 147,735 people took advantage of the translation services, while 12,205 went to the Prophet's Mosque library to look up material.

Thirty-140 individuals utilised transit services, while over 5,400 people attended museums and exhibits. In addition, 146,429 presents were provided to guests, including chocolates, prayer mats, umbrellas, incense burners, flowers, and Qur'anic copies.

Visitors received more than 160,000 bottles of Zamzam water, and 142,007 iftar meals were served in the mosque's specially reserved hallways for those who had been fasting.
