On Thursday, the Ministry of Commerce declared that the seasonal discounts for Eid al-Fitr and the holy month of Ramadan will start on Shaaban 10, 1446 AH, or February 9. This is intended to promote early shopping and prevent traffic at the last minute.
Customers will be able to take advantage of Ramadan and Eid savings until Shawwal 5, 1446 AH, which is April 3, 2025. Discount licenses are now available for electronic applications from businesses and online retailers at sales.mc.gov.sa.
Businesses and online retailers would be able to quickly get licenses, print them, and present them to customers without deducting days from their yearly discount balance by submitting discounts electronically.
By using a mobile device's camera to scan the barcode on the discounts license, the customer can confirm the legitimacy and legality of the discounts. This will provide him with all the information pertaining to the discounts, such as the type and percentage of the discounts, their duration, and basic facility data.
In order to confirm the legitimacy of discounts and keep an eye on them throughout the Kingdom, the ministry stated that its representatives will keep conducting inspection visits of commercial establishments.
