Red Sea Global announced its plans to inaugurate Shura Links, a premier golf course and clubhouse on Shura Island

In a press release on Monday, Red Sea Global (RSG) stated that it intends to open Shura Links, a first-rate golf course and clubhouse, by 2025 on Shura Island in the Red Sea. 

Shura Links, dubbed a "unique golf destination," will be the first 18-hole golf course in Saudi Arabia with stunning views of the marina and the Red Sea beyond. The golf course will be developed in accordance with the strictest sustainability guidelines, emphasizing water conservation and employing cutting-edge techniques for reusing irrigation water to improve natural habitats.

Foster & Partners created the clubhouse at Shura Links, which is modeled after the Coral Bloom design concept and was inspired by the distinctive flora and fauna of Saudi Arabia. Shura Links is a 6,858-meter par 72 course with numerous tees at each hole, designed in collaboration with famous golf architect Brian Curley. 

Shura Links is a golf course with a thoughtful design that emphasizes variation, playability, and memorability. Some of the holes are along the beach, and others have beautiful views of the sea. The course is designed with both novice and expert players in mind, and there are future plans to stage big events.
