Rent transactions have been restricted through digital payment channels - Mada or SADAD from January 15

Starting from Monday, January 15, the Real Estate General Authority of Saudi Arabia is limiting rent transactions through digital payment methods only.

The digital payment methods that Ejar has accepted are Mada or SADAD and the biller number is 153. Ejar made it clear earlier this month that the Council of Ministers' resolution governs the use of the digital payment method.

For new residential contracts, the authority said that it will progressively discontinue providing electronic receipt vouchers since payments made through digital channels will be settled instantly and no receipt voucher will be required.
