Residents of the GCC can now perform Umrah at any time of the year as per Saudi Ministry

Residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) can now undertake Umrah at any time of the year, according to a statement released by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. 

According to the ministry, they can arrange their Umrah in a number of ways to guarantee a smooth and easy journey. The Nusuk portal, Saudi Arabia's official online gateway for pilgrimage services, allows pilgrims to buy an Umrah package. Additionally, they can apply for a visa at authorized visa centers.

In order to do Umrah during their layover, individuals traveling via the Kingdom on Saudia Airlines or Flynas can get a transit visa. Through the electronic visa platform, pilgrims can also apply for a tourism visa that would allow them to visit the country's holy sites and conduct Umrah.

To guarantee that pilgrims' rites are safe and well-organized, all visitors must get an Umrah permission through the Nusuk app before arriving at the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
