Riyadh Air signed a strategic partnership with Singapore Airlines; acquires access to Singapore Airlines' customer base and network

NewsA strategic alliance between Singapore Airlines and Riyadh Air, controlled by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), was inked on the fringes of the International Air Transport Association's annual general assembly conference, which took place in Dubai from June 2–4.
Subject to regulatory permission, Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Airlines, stated that the carriers will investigate possibilities for interline connectivity on one other's services under this collaboration. Along the way, a number of business-related issues will be addressed, such as digital innovations, customer experiences, and air cargo services, setting the stage for a strong and protracted future collaboration between the two airlines.
Through this alliance, Riyadh Air will have access to Singapore Airlines' customer base and network throughout Southeast Asia and the Southwest Pacific. Additionally, it will improve the alternatives available to consumers looking to travel to the Middle East from across the globe by expanding the network of locations that Riyadh Air will serve once it formally begins commercial operations in the middle of 2025.
With its cutting-edge fleet of aircraft, Riyadh Air aims to establish itself as a fully-fledged airline with a focus on digital leadership by implementing the finest safety and sustainability standards worldwide. By 2030, the airline plans to link customers to more than 100 locations.
