Riyadh Art program’s Tuwaiq Sculpture 2024 event will be held from January 14 to February 24, featuring 30 prominent local and international artists

Tuwaiq Sculpture 2024, an event organised by the Riyadh Art programme, is scheduled to take place from January 14 to February 24, 2024. The topic of the event is “Dimensions of Movement,” and thirty eminent local and international artists will present their works.

More than 650 applications from 80 countries were received for the fifth edition of the event, demonstrating the tremendous response to registration. After a jury comprised of art and sculpting specialists carefully assessed the proposals, thirty artists from twenty different nations were chosen. Tuwaiq Sculpture 2024's head curator, Marek Wolynski, stated that the event's fifth iteration will provide an immersive experience that combines ambition, innovation, and expansion. He continued by saying that the event's "Dimensions of Movement" theme reflects how the Riyadh Art program's numerous initiatives are changing the city.

Experts in the disciplines of sculpture and art make up the judging panel for Tuwaiq Sculpture 2024. Tuwaiq Sculpture serves as a creative platform that encourages artists to create unique pieces of art anywhere in the world. The event's core component is the participation of artists from many cultures and backgrounds, and its fifth edition includes an extended community partnership programme.

This covers topics related to architecture, sculpture, art, and design and involves interactive workshops, school visits, and discussion sessions.
