The Riyadh Metro formally opened three lines on Sunday morning, ushering in a new age of public transportation in the Saudi capital.
The longest driverless train in the world and the biggest in the Middle East, the Riyadh Metro, started taking passengers this morning, giving them a smooth and effective way to commute.
The first line (blue line), the fourth line (yellow line), and the sixth line (purple line) are the three lines that have begun operations in the first phase.
