Riyadh will host the 12th General Assembly of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation

The 12th General Assembly of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation, which will bring together dignitaries, representatives, and members of the National Olympic Committee from the 57 Islamic nations, is scheduled to take place in Riyadh on Monday.

The agenda covers the following topics: the minutes of the extraordinary general assembly; the Secretary-General's report for the period of March to November 2023; financial and administrative reports; amendments to the bylaws; the possibility of extending the term of the Board of Directors; the Union's strategic road map; and the plans for hosting the Sixth Islamic Solidarity Games in 2025 and the Seventh in 2029.

As the Federation's leader since 2019, Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal has presided over a time that has witnessed a variety of sporting events and noteworthy advancements.

The 5th Islamic Solidarity Sports Games, which were successfully held in Konya, Turkey, last year, were a noteworthy achievement. The most recent assembly was held in Jeddah in March of this year, and the next General Assembly will come after it.
