SASO has announced online appointment for the Motor Vehicle Periodic Inspection from May 1

The Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organisation (SASO) have announced that starting on May 1, you may schedule an online appointment for the Motor Vehicle Periodic Inspection (MVPI). The appointment will be issued at a rate of 50% of the MVPI stations' available tracks across the whole Kingdom.

This action is a continuation of the SASO's efforts to streamline the appointment booking procedure, lessen crowding, and save time and resources in order to enhance the beneficiary experience and speed up the technical examination of cars.

The SASO announced that it has started an electronic platform for booking appointments for periodic technical inspections. This website helps vehicle owners find the facilities nearest to them and reserve the right date. The recipient will get the vehicle inspection report online upon the conclusion of the inspection procedure in consultation with the appropriate authorities.
