Saudi Arabia emerged topper in the region and fourth globally in the UN digital services index

The UN Digital Services Index showed that Saudi Arabia ranked first in the region and fourth worldwide. According to the UN E-Government Development Index (EGDI) 2024, the Kingdom rose 25 spots, ranking among the top nations globally. It came in second place on the index among G20 nations. Furthermore, the Kingdom rated seventh on the e-participation ranking, with Riyadh placing third out of 193 cities globally.

Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Digital Government Authority, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman, Crown Prince, and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, for their unwavering support of the technical and digital sector and their efforts in advancing the digital transformation of government.
