The International Olympic Committee issued this news concurrent with the recent LEAP 2025 Tech Conference in Riyadh.
In an attempt to include esport into the Olympic framework, a six-member committee is entrusted with choosing which games will be featured. This comes after a 12-year partnership with Saudi Arabia to engage younger viewers.
