Saudi Arabia has taken a significant step by formally lifting the ban on WhatsApp voice and video conversations, enabling unrestricted connections for users.
Both residents and foreigners can now communicate easily thanks to this decision, which represents a dramatic change in the Kingdom's digital environment.
Voice and video calls were first offered by WhatsApp, in 2015 and 2016, respectively. However, because of regulatory rules, many functionalities are not available in Saudi Arabia.
The kingdom's connectivity would significantly increase if the current activation turns out to be permanent.
