According to a press statement released by UN Tourism, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia placed third in the world for foreign visitor arrivals, with a growth of more than 61% in the first eight to nine months of 2024 compared to the same period in 2019.
The tourism industry's ongoing success highlights the work of the Ministry of Tourism, through its plans and strategies, as well as all other tourism industry stakeholders who work to meet Saudi Vision 2030's goals. Travelers' faith in the Kingdom's alluring and varied tourism offerings is also reflected in the notable rise in inbound visitor numbers, which strengthens Saudi Arabia's position as a top international travel destination.
