Thousands of citizens and locals will take to the streets on February 22 to commemorate Saudi Arabia's fourth Founding Day.
The Riyadh Municipality has organized for over 8,000 national flags to be flown in the streets to make the capital green. The flags, which stand for both the First Saudi State and the contemporary Kingdom, have been placed thoughtfully on lampposts, squares, bridges, intersections, and main road masts.
To complete the installations effectively, specialized field teams adhered to a rigorous schedule, placing a high priority on sustainability, safety, and routine maintenance during the festivities.
Green lights were used to decorate ministry buildings and other landmarks on Friday, the eve of Founding Day. Firework displays and traditional folk performances will be part of special activities throughout the region.
