Saudi Arabias General Entertainment Authority has opened registration for the second Entertainment Business Accelerator

The General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia has begun registration for the second Entertainment Business Accelerator, which will run from July 24 to October 31. The programme will target entrepreneurs with new ventures in the entertainment industry. It will provide developmental advantages to several areas of the entertainment business in the Kingdom, including technical solutions, support services, event organisation, facility operations, and the development of artistic skills.

The accelerator programme is divided into three sections, the first of which is registration, which concludes on July 20. The second part is a training camp, which will take place from July 24 to July 26. The accelerator will be launched on August 3 and will run through the end of October. Selected students will be enrolled in a specialised training programme supervised by a group of entertainment industry executives.

The Saudi Press Agency said that the accelerator will feature training camps, orientation sessions, advisory services, and workshops to assist boost the efficacy of investment in the entertainment business. The authority saw 260 projects registered at the inaugural launch, with 60 qualifying for the initial interviews. The following step saw the nomination of 22 proposals for presentation to the jury. 14 projects were approved at the end of the process.
