Saudi Arabia's MoJ announced more than 77,000 electronic reconciliation sessions were held via the Taradhi platform in October

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in Saudi Arabia declared that over 77,000 electronic reconciliation sessions took place on the Taradhi platform in October 2023. The Ministry of Justice said that over 112,000 people benefited from the Taradhi platform in the same month. These figures were attained because of the ministry's efforts to encourage conflict resolution via reconciliation rather than going to court.

According to its statement, reconciliation services are offered by its Reconciliation Centre through the Taradhi digital platform, which can be accessed at taradhi.moj.gov.sa. The platform wants to become the go-to social and commercial option for settling conflicts by fostering a culture of reconciliation across society. This is carried out on the platform by licenced mediators with expertise in different dispute resolution techniques, by established protocols and laws.

Reconcilation documents produced by the platform are notable for being executive bonds, which, should there be a breach of the agreements documented in the document, may be enforced by the enforcement judiciary. With the introduction of several features that help expedite the reconciliation processes and lessen the workload and human effort, the beneficiary's trip has also improved.

The enhancements encompassed the incorporation of electronic integration with internal entities, data exchange between systems, and infrastructure upgrading to guarantee system stability.
