Saudi Arabias second European Film Festival is being held at VOX Cinemas Sahara Mall in Riyadh

The VOX Cinemas Sahara Mall in Riyadh is hosting the second European Film Festival of Saudi Arabia, exhibiting 16 films from various nations. The festival, which runs through June 14, has the Oscar-nominated film "Quiet Girl," the biopic "I am Zlatan" by Jens Sjogren about Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and the Arab world premiere of "Sugar and Stars" by Riadh Belaiche. The event is put on in association with Arabia Pictures Entertainment and the embassies of the EU member states.

At specialised side events throughout the festival, European and Saudi filmmakers will have the opportunity to share ideas and knowledge. The VOX Cinemas Sahara Mall will be the site of all screenings and ancillary activities.  Films from Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden are included in the whole festival roster.
