Saudi Arabias Studio Production Training opened applications for training program as part of its The Studio initiative

NewsAs part of its "The Studio" strategy, Saudi Arabia's Studio Production Training recently launched applications for its highly anticipated training programme. The programme, supported by the Saudi Cultural Development Fund, intends to develop a new generation of highly trained below-the-line production talent in Saudi Arabia. It will give filmmakers with extensive support throughout the whole production process.
By providing training, mentorship, production resources, and access to industry networks, Studio Production Training aspires to be a one-stop shop for budding filmmakers. The project will include 16 chances for over 200 professionals and BTL talents to obtain hands-on training from top-tier film experts. Hajar Al-Naim, CEO of Studio Production Training, stated that the programme was developed to change the Kingdom's film sector.
Applications are now being accepted from emerging talents and aspiring filmmakers who wish to learn the skills required to flourish in BTL jobs such as cinematography, production design, sound design, and post-production. Studio Production Training is collaborating with several universities, streaming platforms, and production firms, including Netflix, Telfaz11, and the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.
