Saudi Arabias Supreme Court called on Muslims to see if they can sight the Dhul Hijjah crescent on Thursday

The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has urged Muslims residing in the Kingdom to try to spot the Dhul Hijjah crescent on Thursday night.  The court asked anybody who sees the crescent, whether through binoculars or their unaided eyes, to report to the closest court so that their evidence can be taken.

Alternatively, individuals might get directions to the closest court by contacting the nearest centre.

The Hajj is performed in the month of Dhul Hijjah; it begins on the eighth and concludes on the twelfth of the month.
