In the 2025 edition of the American Chamber of Commerce's International Intellectual Property Index, Saudi Arabia saw a notable uptick, increasing its total score by 55%, one of the largest increases among the 30 economies in the report's coverage.
The Kingdom's increasing dedication to promoting innovation and creating a strong intellectual property (IP) ecosystem is seen in its success.
In just six years, Saudi Arabia's overall IP index rating improved by more than 40%, from 36.6% in 2019 to 53.7% in 2025, according to the research.
