Saudi Arabia succeeds in the test run of first hydrogen train in the Middle East region

NewsThe first hydrogen train test in the Middle East has been successfully completed in Saudi Arabia, according to Dr Bashar Al-Malik, CEO of Saudi Railway Company. He stated this during a dialogue session at the inaugural Global Logistics Forum 2024 in Riyadh on Monday. He said that the Kingdom is eager to adopt environment-friendly technology, and this initiative is the outcome of the same.
According to Al-Malik, efforts are being made to extend the railway network to new locations and economic zones in order to assist all sectors of the Kingdom's economy.
A select group of executives, professionals, and innovators convened for the inaugural Global Logistics Forum to investigate ground-breaking ideas that have the potential to drastically alter the global logistics industry. With 130 speakers and 80 exhibitors from 30 countries, the conference was attended by a number of ministers, senior officials, heads of international organisations, industry federations, specialists, professors, and analysts.
