The World Economic Forum (WEF), in April, will have a special conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The focus of the event is on global partnerships, growth, and energy, as noted by Saudi Economy and Planning Minister Faisal Al Ibrahim at the 'Saudi Arabia: The Course Ahead' panel on Thursday. He emphasised Riyadh's growing significance as a cross-sector hub and a worldwide hub for thinking leadership.
WEF President Borge Brende stressed the need of international collaboration, particularly in meeting the requirements of energy development and recovering economic growth.
The conference, which is slated for April 28 and 29, is the first unique WEF gathering to take place outside of the conventional Davos forums since the start of COVID-19. Brende conveyed his appreciation to the Saudi authorities for organising the gathering.
