The conference, "WHO at 75: Saving Lives, Driving Health for All," is taking place right now and lasts till May 30.
Al-Jalajel emphasised that the Kingdom was dedicated to pursuing the goals outlined in the leaders' declaration made during the 2020 G20 Summit, which Saudi Arabia presided over and was to be timed with the commencement of the coronavirus epidemic.
Al-Jalajel praised the organization's and its member states' efforts to update international health laws and the ongoing discussions to draught a pandemic treaty that would add new legal tools to deal with pandemics in the future and help the world get over some of the difficulties it had to face in fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
