Saudi Arabia will host the 19th session of the Internet Governance Forum in Riyadh from December 15 to 19

The Saudi Press Agency announced on Sunday that Saudi Arabia would host the 19th session of the Internet Governance Forum from December 15–19 at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Centre in Riyadh. 

The UN hosts the annual conference, which focuses on discussing policy concerns about internet governance.  The conversation will centre on how the public, business, and nonprofit sectors may work together to address upcoming issues.

As part of Saudi Vision 2030, the Kingdom has been strengthening its capacities in digital governance, information technology, and communications. The IGF was hosted in Kyoto, Japan, last year.
