Saudi Civil Aviation urges Umrah pilgrims to get vaccinated. The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has sent a circular to all companies operating at airports in Saudi Arabia, including private airlines, in this regard.
The circular stated that airlines should ensure that visa holders, or those intending to perform Umrah regardless of visa type, have received the required vaccinations.
The circular also states that the airline companies must notify travelers coming to Saudi Arabia on Umrah visa and those coming to Saudi Arabia on other visas who wish to perform Umrah must comply with the health conditions advertised on the Ministry of Health website to ensure that travelers have received all necessary vaccines.
