Saudi Culinary Arts Commission signed MoU with Sawani to promote Saudi national culinary heritage

NewsRecently, Sawani and the Saudi Culinary Arts Commission inked a memorandum of understanding to advance Saudi Arabia's culinary legacy. Sawani, a business controlled by the Public Investment Fund, manufactures and markets camel milk goods both domestically and abroad. The memorandum's signing takes place in 2024, Saudi Arabia's Year of the Camel, highlighting the animal's cultural significance in the Kingdom.
According to the terms of the agreement, Sawani and the commission will start programmes and projects to develop the culinary arts industry in the Kingdom and promote Saudi cuisine both domestically and abroad.
The pact was signed within the scope of collaborations between the commission and the public, corporate, and nonprofit sectors, according to Mayada Badr, CEO of the commission. It seeks to unite the culinary arts culture in the Kingdom by showcasing distinctive meal dishes, regional specialties, and distinctive flavours that define Saudi cuisine.
