News EventThe fourth edition of the Saudi Feast Food Festival is taking place at the Abadi Al-Johar Theater in Jeddah from November 27 to December 6. It is organized by the Saudi Ministry of Culture and Culinary Arts Commission.
The festival's schedule of events is organized into seven different zones. The 13 parts that reflect the many regions of Saudi Arabia make up the culinary arts heritage area, which is one of the primary attractions. With over 195 food vendors, each part showcases regional delicacies and offers a variety of culinary traditions from Jazan, Makkah, Al-Jouf, Qassim, Medina, Hail, Tabuk, Riyadh, and Al-Baha.
Professional chefs compete in culinary contests that emphasize regional and national Saudi dishes, such as maqshush, the country's national dish, and jareesh. The competition zone is the festival's high point.
There will be one or two competitions per day during the festival, with chefs from all across the Kingdom competing in daily challenges. The winner of each competition will get SR20,000 ($5,323) in cash.
With activities like cooking classes, storytelling at the "Grandmother's Stories" corner, and interactive environmental awareness programs, children in the kids zone can take part in interactive workshops to learn about Saudi art, culture, and food.
