Large-scale festivities of Saudi Founding Day are being planned in more than 15 Saudi cities from February 20 to 23.
The municipality of Riyadh has started a massive project to adorn the city, with more than 8,000 flags erected at strategic points throughout the capital. In honor of the Kingdom's foundation three centuries ago, the Ministry of Culture is organizing a wide range of historical and cultural activities.
The Kingdom as a whole will pay homage to the rich legacy of the country as the celebrations spread beyond Riyadh and AlUla.
