In keeping with the fifth Sustainable Development Goal on gender equality in the workplace, the platform will evaluate national and global data within the context of gender balance to assist decision makers.
According to IPA Director General Bandar Al-Sajan, the platform examines more than 85 national and international gender balance indicators. The new platform is a component of the institute's plan to stay up to date with the objectives and initiatives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, particularly in the areas of digital transformation and technology.
Al-Sajan stated that by offering statistics and reports based on data broken down by gender, the platform seeks to identify present barriers and gaps as well as therapeutic approaches.
The Institute of Public Administration and Oracle Systems Limited, a Saudi Arabian company, also signed a memorandum of understanding on technology to strengthen their collaborative efforts in the field of digital transformation and as a means of advancing the advancement of financial and administrative systems. Oracle general manager Reham Al-Mousa and IPA Deputy Director General for Shared Services Dr. Yasser Hawsawi signed the pact.
