Saudi Media Minister launched the 'Saudipedia' digital platform at the Future of Media Exhibition

NewsDuring the Saudi Media Forum, the digital platform 'Saudipedia' was introduced by Saudi Media Minister Salman Al-Dosary on Monday at the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX) in Riyadh. Abdullah Al-Swaha, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, was present at the occasion, as were a number of representatives from Arab and foreign media organisations.
Part of Vision 2030's Human Capability Development Programme, "Saudipedia" seeks to provide a comprehensive information base about the Kingdom. It aims to become the main source of accurate information on Saudi Arabia in a variety of languages by improving and sharing trustworthy material in an encyclopaedic manner via a platform built in accordance with best standards.
"Saudipedia" is a legitimate source of encyclopaedic information since it provides encyclopaedic content that reflects the reality of the Kingdom from cultural, social, economic, political, geographical, and historical perspectives. It offers textual information with multimedia assistance that is updated often to showcase the Kingdom's wealth in terms of culture, civilization, history, and natural geography.
