Saudi Ministry of Education and King Salman Global Academy have signed MoU for launching joint programs, applications and modern means of education

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Ministry of Education and the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen collaboration in language education services. The memorandum was signed by Ohoud bint Abdullah Al-Faris, general supervisor of the Ministry of Education's General Administration of E-learning and Distance Education, and Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi, acting secretary-general of the academy. The agreement establishes a framework for the development of cooperative programmes, apps, and contemporary educational tools.

The agreement invites both parties to promote foreign universities, schools, and educational institutions to take use of the King Salman Academy's language competency test and Saudi government funding for overseas students who desire to learn Arabic. Furthermore, the agreement calls for the creation of Arabic dictionaries and school curriculum, as well as the organisation of conferences, programmes, seminars, forums, and training courses to improve the abilities of personnel working in domains connected to the Arabic language.
