Saudi Red Crescent Authority launched air ambulance service from the towers adjacent to the Grand Mosque in Makkah

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority's (SRCA) air ambulance service was launched on Wednesday in Makkah from the towers next to the Grand Mosque. Fahad Al-Jalajel, the authority's chairman of the board of directors and minister of health, was present. 

This programme is a part of the ministry's efforts to get ready for pilgrims in 2024 and to offer them a range of services that will keep them healthy and save lives. Because it can swiftly reach patients in different regions, deliver specialised emergency medical treatments, and transfer patients to specialised health institutions promptly, the Kingdom's air ambulance service is exceptional.

This service is a part of an integrated health system that begins with answering the emergency call, continues with the service, and concludes with moving the patient to a facility with specialised care. 

In order to reach all hospitalised and injured people this year, the authorities is deploying seven helicopters in various locations around the Grand Mosque and the Holy Sites. the start of the ceremony at Makkah's Grand Mosque neighborhood, which is seen to be a key site for reaching visitors throughout the Hajj days.
