Saudi Red Sea Authority has issued licenses for three tourist marinas: Al-Ahlam Marina, Jazan, and Red Sea Marina in Jeddah

The Saudi Red Sea Authority has granted licenses for three tourist marinas: the Red Sea Marina located in Jeddah and the Al-Ahlam Marina situated in Jeddah and Jazan. In an attempt to fulfill the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in developing the coastline tourism industry, the government is granting licenses to control marine tourism.

The authority can maintain and protect the marine environment while also raising the standard of services offered to tourists and visitors by controlling the operation of marinas. The authority conducts routine field trips to tourist marinas in Yanbu, Jeddah, Jazan, and Al-Lith in order to offer technical and advisory help. In order to obtain a license from the relevant authority, marina operators are required to guarantee adherence to global standards.

The Saudi Red Sea Authority started developing and regulating the coastal tourism industry in 2021, in order to improve integration among pertinent entities. This included issuing licenses and permits, developing crucial policies and strategies, determining the necessary infrastructure, protecting the marine environment, drawing in investments, and promoting navigational and marine tourism activities.
