Second Saudi Digital Dentistry Society conference and exhibition will take place from November 30 to December 2

Under the theme "Witness the Future," the second Saudi Digital Dentistry Society conference and exhibition will be held at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University from November 30 to December 2. In addition to offering free workshops to registered attendees, the three-day conference will feature 18 speeches by 14 speakers covering a variety of themes.

There will be involvement from government agencies such as the Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, the National Unified Procurement Co., and the information security company ELM. The newest developments in dentistry, such as digital implants, 3D printing, artificial intelligence, and the metaverse, will be covered by experts. They will also look at smart clinics, digital marketing for dentists, and AR and VR applications.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to develop and improve diagnostic tools, such as those that can identify oral illness early on. Meanwhile, 3D printing is being utilised to make personalised dental crowns and implants. Conversely, the metaverse is thought to provide dentists with a distant means of communicating with patients.

Speakers at the summit will include international speakers Paul Vigario, CEO and founder of US dental IT firm SurfCT.com, and Matteo Valoriani and Roberto Mangano from Italian company Fifthingenium, a developer of mixed-reality applications. Among the DDS members scheduled to speak are Altamimi, current president Jaafar Mouhyi, and president-elect Francesco Mangano.
