Sharaan Resort in Al Ula is designed to offer a unique eco-luxury experience, deeply rooted in the regions rich heritage

Beginning with the first rock excavation in the Sharaan Nature Reserve, the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has accomplished a major milestone in the creation of the Sharaan Resort. This phase of the project represents a dedication to environmentally friendly and cutting-edge building techniques by fusing Bouygues Construction's engineering expertise with Jean Nouvel's architectural vision. 

The Sharaan Resort, which is situated in the stunning AlUla, Saudi Arabia, is intended to provide a distinctive eco-luxury experience that is firmly ingrained in the rich cultural legacy of the area. 38 custom suites set into the sandstone mountains will be part of the resort, along with a wealth of spa centres, family-friendly features, a variety of eating establishments, and breathtaking panoramic views that promise a peaceful and opulent encounter with AlUla's natural beauty. 

This initiative aims to pioneer sustainable development while minimising environmental damage and boosting luxury tourism in northwest Arabia, in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the AlUla Sustainability Charter. The partnership in sustainable development between RCU, Jean Nouvel, and Bouygues Construction is a prime example of global cooperation.

RCU's commitment to maintaining AlUla's natural and historical integrity while working to make it the world's biggest Living Museum and a prominent travel destination is demonstrated by the Sharaan Resort. 

With 5,000 hotel rooms by 2030 and 8,500 by 2035, RCU hopes to extend AlUla's hospitality scene. This development represents the well-balanced combination of luxury and sustainability that will define AlUla's future.
