With 30 pieces of art produced during a live sculpting show at Roshn Front last month, the sixth annual Tuwaiq International Sculpture Symposium got underway in Riyadh on Wednesday.
The event, with the subject "From Then to Now: Joy in the Struggle of Making," will take place till February 24.
Bringing together artists from around the world, the yearly symposium features interactive presentations, educational travels, and a number of workshops.
All sculptures made during the event will be added to Riyadh Art's permanent collection, according to the organizers.
In addition to the 35 sculptures from past Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium editions that were erected at the King Abdulaziz Historical Center, these sculptures will be positioned in significant public areas throughout the city.
